Venture 2006, the business plan competition organized by the ETH Zurich and McKinsey & Company, is about to start. Throughout the contest, experienced coaches - successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and other professionals - will guide you in refining your business idea/plan.
Furthermore, Venture offers various workshops to help build on your functional skills - from marketing to financing and intellectual property protection. And you stand a chance of being awarded part of the total prize money of over 150'000 Swiss francs.

The regulations on intellectual property and participation in companies in the ETH sector have now been published – following their approval by the Swiss Federal Council – in the official compilation of Swiss Federal law. (Regulations on intellectual property and participation in the ETH domain)
These regulations are linked directly to the new ETH law that came into force on January 1, 2004 and represent the basis for the internal guidelines of ETH Zurich for the exploitation of research results (exploitation guidelines).
To the winning teams Molecular Partners and NovoGEL, who were awarded the first prize of SFr 60,000 each for their business plans in the Swiss Business Plan Competition Venture 2004.
To the other prize winners: Active Noise Cancelling, Endosense, FlamePowders and Foldcore.
To the other 75 participating teams for their innovative ideas, entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding commitment.
