Spark Award

On 21 March 2013 ETH transfer presented the annual “Spark Award 2013”. Researchers from ETH Zurich received the award for the most promising invention of 2012 that resulted in a patent application.

The most promising invention of the year: Composites with extreme mechanical gradients, was invented by: M.Sc. Rafael Libanori (left), Dr. Randall Erb and Prof. Dr. André Studart (middle).
