Advanced Researchers' Day (May 2013)

On May 15, the SNSF will welcome advanced researchers (postdoc level and higher) from all over Switzerland to its head office in Berne. The Advanced Researchers’ Day hosted by the SNSF is aimed at meeting applicants' information needs with regard to the funding opportunities offered by the SNSF. On 19 September 2012, the SNSF will welcome advanced researchers (postdoc level and higher) from all over Switzerland to its head office in Berne. NEWS  from the SNSF: Innovations in 2013

In 2013 the SNSF offers fellowships for doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences and introduces changes for the fellowships for prospective and advanced researchers.

New fellowship Doc.CH (HSS)

As of next year, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) will be offering a new funding scheme aimed at doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences: Doc.CH (HSS). Flyer Doc.CH (PDF, 196 KB)

New layout for the mobility fellowships

In addition, from 2013, the fellowships for research stays abroad will be offered in a new guise: Doc.Mobility and Early Postdoc.Mobility will replace the fellowships for prospective researchers, and Advanced Postdoc.Mobility will take the place of fellowships for advanced researchers. Please note: for fellowship applications submitted to the Research Commission of the ETH Zurich, funding from the SNSF, will still be restricted to one year. The Research Commission expects the second year to be financed by the host institution.
